message from Terri Cadiente:
Welcome to the
New Year! We are starting off 2009 with the
excitement of adding New Club Members! This is an
indication of growth and opportunity to extend our
reach with the supportive club members in place;
we look forward to an effective year of service.
Our plans for fundraising will encompass the
traditional annual Fashion Show, held in the Fall,
which is a stellar event not to be missed and our
planning committee is going cutting edge with a
Mystery Event on the calendar for June 6th
– Trust me on this one, it will have all the
components of a winning occasion! ~Watch for
upcoming details right here!!
Our club will host the Soroptimist signature
program; Violet Richardson and Woman Opportunity
Award breakfast in February at the Santa Clarita
Community Center. You can learn more about these

links, and you will be connected to the
Soroptimist International site, loaded with
informative content to educate the most
inquisitive one.
Please take a look at our upcoming event calendar
as this month we honor the local community
Zontians with our annual joint club mixer.
We enjoy this evening of connection, FUN,
and blended service focuses.
Additionally, we will host the annual Wine
and Cheese evening open to anyone interested in
learning more about ‘who’ Soroptimist
International is at a local level and the global
impact we participate in, ‘what’ the actual
programs of Soroptimist are that benefit women and
girls, and exactly ‘how’ you can become
involved with our clubs commitment to make a
difference that is measureable.
